NATURAL RUBBER : It is collected from FSC® certified plantations as latex milk which is then transformed into a paste, rolled, dried and finally sent as crepe balls to the factory. The crepe is then rolled together with silica, sulfur and pigments and more into a rubber mass. The subsequent vulcanization process sees the mass cooked in a special oven to create elastic rubber soles. Instead of using synthetic glues to join the sole and upper, milk latex is used which has also been vulcanised. Every single step is subject to FSC® principles.

PRODUCTION : The workers' rights association founded for the employees of the Pakistani partner factory Talon in the city of Sialkot is called " Welfare Society ". The company operates in accordance with fair trade principles and ensures that employees also benefit from the fair trade practice. For every pair of shoes sold, one US dollar is paid as a premium to the company. An elected group of its members then democratically decides which health and education projects to use this money for. From Sialkot the sneakers are loaded onto a ship for transport to our warehouse and finally to your favorite store or directly to you when you purchase them through our online store. Welfare Society — For every pair of shoes sold, one US dollar is paid as a bonus to the Talon Fair Trade Workers Welfare Society.
