Ethletic - The sustainable sneaker since 2004 and the first in Fairtrade cotton Sustainable and natural materials, ethical and ecological production make Ethletic sneakers your conscious choice in terms of footwear. Ethletic uses Fairtrade certified organic cotton for the upper, grown by farmers who receive a guaranteed fixed price plus a Fairtrade bonus for educational and health projects. The sole is made of natural rubber extracted from the Hevea tree (caoutchouc) certified FSC. This is joined to the upper through a vulcanization process to avoid the use of synthetic adhesives and glues. Production takes place in Pakistan in factories where Ethletic has created safe working conditions and fair wages. To reduce CO2 emissions and pollution, Ethletic has chosen to use ships to transport goods instead of planes, even if this means 30 days of travel instead of one.
