Packaging or products certified with the OK Compost brand are guaranteed to be biodegradable. The certification can be OK Compost INDUSTRIAL or OK Compost HOME. In the first case, biodegradability is guaranteed in industrial plants, in the second case, complete biodegradability is guaranteed even in the garden composter. In fact, the two types of composting cannot be considered the same because in the composter that you have in the garden, the lower temperatures compared to industrial plants and the reduced volumes of waste make the process slower and more difficult and for this reason not all compostable products are suitable to be thrown in the home composter.
