Latte e Luna is a brand of Derma Viridis, a small family-run artisan laboratory in Sabaudia: Francesca and Federica Capriglione personally manage every phase of the cosmetic creation process, from its production to its sale. Francesca's project is to create creams, serums and ointments, suitable for ALL skin types, even the most sensitive and altered. The production of artisan cosmetics is divided into batches of a maximum of 3 kg of product, in order to have efficient quality control and to guarantee cosmetics that are always fresh and effective: choosing low temperatures to keep the active ingredients intact and slow and delicate processing of the raw materials.
Water-free cosmetics: Latte e Luna proposes anhydrous cosmetics, that is, without water, to offer you a completely active product, choosing a base capable not only of welcoming the ingredient, but of working together with it and amplifying its potential. Furthermore, it is the lipids contained in the cosmetics (only of vegetal origin) that with their film-forming action protect skin hydration, to guarantee the well-being of our skin. This is what makes the formulations, even the simplest, high-performance, effective and highly concentrated, exploiting the true potential of a medicinal extract or a pure oil, and in the same gesture it is absolutely delicate and protective, recommended by dermatologists even for extremely sensitive, atopic, mature, oily or asphyxiated, dry or flaky skin, with dermatitis or psoriasis.
Ecodermocompatibility: Since the birth of the brand, Latte e Luna has offered ecodermocompatible cosmetics, that is, they are good for the skin and at the same time do not have a negative impact on the environment. The certification with Skineco, an international association of ecodermocompatibility, was the driving force that led Latte Luna cosmetics to be clinically tested.
All the ingredients used in the production process, such as oils, butters and medicinal extracts, are certified, of natural origin and of high quality, favoring only those highly compatible with the skin and the environment. Particular attention is also paid to the extraction systems, which represent fundamental constants in the organoleptic composition of the ingredients used and in their contribution of active principles.
