The Ergobag brand belongs to FOND OF, a young German company founded in 2016 with the idea of ​​creating a school backpack inspired by trekking backpack models and in particular by their ergonomic features. This is how Ergobag created the first finally ergonomic school backpack, which relieves the child's back and allows for a correct position by distributing the weight evenly. The ergonomics and functionality of the backpacks is approved by IGR, a German national association whose members are physiotherapists, physical education teachers, doctors and organizations, all interested in the topic of back health. The tests are based on selected standards (DIN 33419 and EN ISO 15537) and guidelines for ergonomics.
The shape of the Ergobag backpacks is also optimized for cycling to school and for all the acrobatics of children on the move! In addition, all ergobag school backpacks are equipped with large surfaces made of reflective materials that ensure visibility even at night.
On the other hand, Ergobag has always paid attention to the environment with the desire to give our children a positive future. The backpacks are in fact made of recycled PET, in this way waste is reused and natural resources are protected. The fabrics and materials are also free of toxic plasticizers (phthalates) or PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons).
As a member of the Fair Wear Foundation, Ergobag maintains close and personal relationships with its manufacturers and partners. Annual checks and inspections are carried out by associated companies to monitor safety and working conditions, and all workers are guaranteed the minimum wage.
