The Clean Detergence standard was created by AIAB (Italian Association for Organic Agriculture) to certify those detergents and cleaning products that are as low-polluting and harmful to health as possible, but at the same time effective in their washing function.
The following categories are part of the certified products:
-household cleaning products;
-dish detergents;
-detergents for washing clothes.
Here are some of the characteristics they should have:
- the raw materials used must have been individually approved and come from organic farming as far as possible;
-the product must be effective and subjected to severe washing tests;
- the product must not be harmful to the health of those who use it and must be subjected to strict dermatological tests;
-the product must have the lowest possible environmental impact, both in terms of pollution and in the production process itself.
