Fer à Cheval black soap paste is a very economical multi-purpose universal cleaner : a small dose is enough to clean, degrease, nourish and polish all washable surfaces in the home. It is also an excellent laundry stain remover. Formulated with olive oil, without the addition of preservatives, solvents or colorants, Fer à Cheval black soap offers a natural alternative to chemical detergents. The black soap paste is composed of 99% ingredients of natural origin and labeled as eco-detergents.

Composition: more than 30% soap
Cleaning :
- Gardening Tools: Apply a small amount of soft black soap to a brush and scrub the metal parts of the tools. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly with newspaper. The tools will be cleaner and better protected.
- Fireplace: Start by vacuuming up the soot stains. In a bowl of hot water dilute 2 tablespoons of soft black soap and with a soaked brush clean the stones and bricks. For the fireplace insert, place a small amount of black soap on newspaper rolled into a ball, scrub vigorously to restore its shine, then finish cleaning with a sponge dampened in hot water and dry with a cloth.
Maintenance :
- Wood / Leather: Place a small amount of soft black soap on a slightly damp cloth, rub gently to restore elasticity and shine. Before applying black soap, do a test on a hidden part of furniture, clothing, bag or shoes ... to be treated.
Remove stains :
- Painting: Apply a little soft black soap to the stain on the back of the laundry before washing.
- Grease: Apply black soap to grease stains and rub lightly to work in. Leave for a few minutes before machine or hand washing.
- Stubborn odors and stains on a mattress: cover the stains with black soap and white vinegar with a dishcloth and let it sit for a few minutes. Rinse by dabbing with warm water and let it dry.
Degrease :
- Oven: On a slightly warm oven, apply your black soap to the areas to be degreased, then spread a little baking soda and leave for half a day. Rub and rinse thoroughly with hot water.
- Hood, hob, barbecue: degrease the grates regularly with a sponge soaked in a small amount of black soap. If the grease is very stubborn, soak the grate for a few hours in a basin of hot water with 2 tablespoons of black soap, then rinse thoroughly with hot water.
