Lemongrass Essential Oil by Java Bioessenze

Javanese lemongrass is at least twice as potent as the common common variety of lemongrass, because it is normally only found in Java and is quite rare and the insects have not been able to develop immunity due to lack of exposure.

• Additionally, you can add lemongrass oil to a base oil for massage or bath.

Aromatherapy claims that lemongrass oil has activating and warming qualities, and regulates the sweating process. Diluted in a base oil such as almond oil and applied to the skin it produces a mild warming sensation, which relieves aching muscles and joints. Mentally, the aroma of lemongrass oil can help with nervous fatigue due to its relaxing properties.

Lemongrass oil pairs well with cedarwood, orange, geranium, lemon and bergamot.

How to use:

• For foods : one drop is sufficient to flavor 100 g/100 ml of food/drink.
• For cosmetics : 15-20 drops in 50 ml of vegetable oil, cream, neutral shampoo and shower gel. You can also use it for toothpastes, deodorants, DIY ointments.
• For rooms : 10 drops in an aroma lamp and vaporizer, to aromatize a room.
