Basil essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and flowers. This oil has a greenish color and a sweet aroma with woody base notes. In aromatherapy, it acts mentally to improve concentration, acts as a nervous and energetic balancer and to eliminate anger and stress.

Uses of Basil Essential Oil
To improve digestion and for aerophagia: combine 4 drops of Basil essential oil with 2 tablespoons of almond oil or wheat germ oil and massage the stomach and abdomen until completely absorbed.
For catarrh and cough : make a remedy by diluting 8 drops of basil essential oil in a bowl of very hot water.
In aromatherapy : its solar aroma is an elixir against depressive and stressful states, it works by eliminating anger and frustration, restoring mental clarity and confidence.
