Tussah silk is also called wild silk because it is obtained from the cocoons of wild silkworms. The silkworms do not only feed on mulberry trees but on various plants that they find and this gives the silk a more natural and slightly more irregular appearance than traditional silk. Compared to this, wild silk also has greater hygroscopicity, meaning it can absorb an even greater quantity of humidity and then release it quickly.

Tussah silk is very durable and has excellent resilience following pulling and prolonged use.

Lavare a mano solo con detersivo per seta, in mancanza usate il detersivo per lana e delicati.
Non centrifugare, non usare l'asciugatrice. Non usare l'ammorbidente.

Asciugatura: rimettere in forma l'indumento ancora bagnato, stendere in piano al riparo dalla luce diretta del sole. La seta bagnata ingiallisce alla luce diretta del sole o vicino a una stufa

Macchie di grasso: le macchie di grasso fresco possono essere rimosse con bicarbonato di sodio spruzzando sulla superficie asciutta e lasciando agire per circa 20 minuti.
