Golfo Aranci was born from botanical research carried out in the Sardinian Mediterranean Macchia and contains its essence. Inside, the essential oils of the spontaneous plants that grow here, nourished by the sun and lashed by the wind. Sardinia is a very particular land from a botanical point of view, where particularly resistant species thrive, which give us their strength. Below, the uses and popular traditions related to these.

FENNEL Foeniculum vulgare dulce. The essential oil, extracted from the seeds, has a warm, sweet and pungent aroma reminiscent of anise. It is a powerful psychic protector, it supports in difficult moments. In the past it was used against witches. It promotes freer and more spontaneous communication for those who tend to always analyze too much, it helps to overcome fears and sedimented inhibitions. Diffused, it protects against negative astral influences.

SAGE Salvia Desoleana. Sage is the queen of medicinal herbs, whose name derives from the Latin salvus: healthy, safe, cured. Its healing power was so well known that it deserved the name Salvia Officinalis. A salvific plant, a panacea for the body and spirit to which many legends and popular traditions are linked: amulets were made with it to maintain good health and free one from evil influences and nightmares. Salvia Desoleana is just one of hundreds of known species: a very rare chemotype found only in Sardinia, with a smell closer to the flower than the leaf. ROSEMARY Rosmarinus Officinalis. A plant governed by the Sun, of fundamental importance for all the peoples of the Mediterranean since ancient times. "Its burning, saline, conscience-strengthening, comforting scent has something in it that recalls the solemnity of incense", it was in fact burned for purifying purposes during sacred rites. HELICHRYSUM Helicrysum italicum. A Sardinian legend tells of a mother who, desperate for her children's health, dreamed of the Virgin Mary cleaning their room with a broom made of Helichrysum. It was with herbal teas made from the plant that she finally cured them. Helichrysum, which takes its name from the Sun and gold, is also known as "the immortal": it survives the most extreme conditions, even if cut it does not change color or smell. Its scent gives a desire to live that overcomes every difficulty.
