Makia Clothing is a Finnish ethical and sustainable clothing brand. The harsh Nordic climate has inspired the design and study of their garments from the beginning, focusing on materials and styles that can adapt to the elements of nature and the urban environment. Makia produces contemporary clothing to stand the test of time, in terms of quality and trends. The goal is to make the designs as usable and functional as possible, practical clothes to be used throughout life.
Over the years, Makia Clothing has chosen a small group of trusted suppliers from around the world who share the same values. They have set a goal of using 75% eco-friendly materials and eliminating virgin plastic from packaging by 2025. Currently, 64% of production includes eco-friendly materials.
