Karinù is a small and young Italian brand, born once the creators, Karen and Federico, discovered pima cotton. The incredible sensation of softness of this natural fiber won them over and so they decided to use it to create delicate and soft clothing for newborns and children.
Pima cotton is characterized by its extra long fiber that gives it remarkable properties of uniformity and resistance. It is the softest and most resistant quality of cotton in the world.
Unlike conventional cotton, the more it is washed, the softer it becomes; it does not shrink or harden, maintaining its precious qualities unaltered over time.
The pima cotton used for the Karinù collection is GOTS certified and comes from fair trade. The cotton producer is Bergman Rivera, the first in Latin America to obtain the GOTS certificate from production to clothing.
