BOTANICAL PERFUMERY: a completely natural perfume based on essential oils. Botanical perfumery is the art of composing perfumes using only plant extracts, working with living and completely natural raw materials. Olfattiva creates perfumes with real essential oils, faithfully following the indications of the lunar calendar and the ancient secrets of herbalism. The goal is to combine a daily care gesture with the benefits of aromatherapy. You will take with you the power of water, earth, sun and air that have become plants.
Each substance returns the energy it is composed of . Olfattiva does not use chemical fixatives, because they would pollute the power of plants, which act on the subtle aspects of moods and personal well-being. Unlike natural perfumery, where substances derived from animals such as pheromones are also used, botanical perfumery does not use products of animal origin, because by embracing the law of resonance, products that contain the information of suffering are not used.
INSIGHT The Angel's Water: This perfume water comes from plants that in popular tradition have been associated with the purity of the Angels since time immemorial. Olfattiva has done historical research that went back to the origins of the phytotherapeutic tradition, to the discovery of those plants that, starting from 1400 (with the mirabilis water), were linked in popular uses to angelic figures and that turned out to be all purifying plants.
- Myrtle: From Myrtle they obtained the acqua mirabilis or “the water of the Angels”, which was used in ancient times by ladies to improve the complexion of the face with a toning and refreshing action. It is considered the plant of purity, and, in particular, of angelic purity.
- Bergamot: The essential oil, extracted from the peel of the fruit, has a fresh and enveloping, almost flowery scent. It lifts the mood, relaxes the mind, sharpens the senses and induces inner peace. Its regenerating action instills joy, soothes emotional pain. It is said to be the scent of Paradise, Citrus Paradisi is in fact its botanical name.
- Litsea: The essential oil, which is obtained by steaming the small berries, has an intense and fruity citrus scent that is suitable for anyone who wants mental clarity and energy. The plant appears as an evergreen tree and is grown in China, Indochina, India, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, where in popular tradition it is said to create a bond with angels and is called mai chang (call of the angel). The reason for this legend is easy to deduce: Litsea is a sedative, neurovegetative balancer, antidepressant and natural anxiolytic. It helps fight fears, phobias, insomnia and nervousness, creating internal and external harmony. Perfect for a light-filled awakening and for an invigorating shower, it is very suitable for diffusing in study and work environments, where it helps fight tiredness and sharpen concentration.
- Mandarin: Extracted from the peel of the fruit, the essential oil has a sweetness that conveys a message of simple playfulness, awakening the child within us and supporting it. Its action on the psycho-emotional sphere induces greater sincerity towards oneself. In its highest vibrations it is associated with the energy of the Child Jesus.
- Lemon: its fresh scent, with purifying properties, calms and refreshes the mind, increases clarity and concentration, alleviates fears. We associate it with purity and protection. Lemon is a tribute to sunlight, which brings us back in all its splendor, giving balance and harmony.
- Incense: its name comes from the Latin incendere, meaning to burn, to shine: it has always been associated with the fire of divinity. Salty, rich and spicy, the essential oil is extracted from the resin of the shrub that grows in the Red Sea region. Its scent, sweet and aromatic, favors contact with one's spirituality and the most subtle aspects of existence. It predisposes to calm and meditation, stimulating the higher psychic faculties. Always linked to sacredness, in the act of prayer it creates a link between the human being and the Divine.
- Eucalyptus: the color that represents it is blue, one of the colors of Saint Michael. Its balsamic scent helps breathing and "opens the chest", dispelling stagnant melancholy. It revives the spirit and helps create a greater sense of freedom. In the same way that it purifies the air and fights the spread of diseases, it offers us its protection by energetically cleansing the places we live in.
