Micellar Cornflower and Tea Tree Water - Alkemilla

Micellar water ideal as a make-up removing lotion with purifying, refreshing and anti-inflammatory power, particularly suitable for combination and oily skin . The lotion is based on cornflower water with make-up removing properties, while Melissa and Eucalyptus extracts clean and refresh the skin. The organic extracts of Thyme and Rosemary together with Tee Tree have a strong antibacterial, antiseptic and inflammation-reducing action.

The product was formulated in a base of cornflower water, a cosmetic ingredient with multiple properties and immediate, high-performance action. Cornflower water known as Centaurea Cyanus carries out an important anti-aging activity, prevents acne and eczema as well as preventing the formation of shadows and spots around the eyes. The active substances of Centaurea Cygnus smooth the skin, detoxifying the epidermis and freeing pores clogged by harmful substances present in the air.

All formulations are strictly without :

• without SILICONES: silicon derivatives, often used because they give a pleasant texture. Sensitizing, occlusive, odorless and colourless, in the INCI they appear as Dimethicone, indicated with PEG 10 Dimethicone or Methicone. They mask skin and hair problems by wrapping them like in a cellophane patina, worsening their appearance as soon as use is suspended.
• without ACRYLATES: film-forming substances with an "unnatural" barrier effect between the epidermis and the environment. Composed of molecules foreign to those constituting the hydrolipidic layer, they hinder the "breathing" of the skin, trapping germs and potentially causing irritation and allergic reactions.
• without PETROLATES : lipids obtained from hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum, used as solvents, emollients, carriers or functional substances, but potentially carcinogenic, such as PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM, an economical shelf carrier that does not go rancid, a negligible cost for companies and high long-term yield.
• without EDTA : Ethylene Diamino Tetraacetic Acid. Having reached the sea following consumer waste, in contact with mercury and various heavy metals, it liquefies and is absorbed by fish which transfer the metals themselves to a concentration 5000 times higher. Ended up on our tables and ingested they can lead to saturnism.
• without BHT and BHA : synthetic antioxidants among the most famous, but powerful endocrine disruptors.
• without PROPYLEN GLYCOL : humectant used to delay the dispersion of moisture from the skin, prevents evaporation and prevents the cosmetic from drying out. Glycerine or PEG are also often used, with a pseudo-hydrating function.
• without SLS : Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. It's a surfactant: have you ever seen a fly fall into water? Float!!! A drop of soap and it will immediately sink in. This happens thanks to the presence of surfactants such as SLS, in fact its function is to lower the surface tension of the water allowing the skin to be wetted, removing dirt and fat which will be emulsified and removed with rinsing. Emulsifier, detergent, foamer, solubilizer... the bad news? It has been found in the cells that make up cancerous tissue.
• without PARABENS : preservatives and antimicrobials. They are divided into four forms: Ethyl, Methyl, Buthyl and Prophyl; They significantly influence the rate of estrogen in the body. Are they carcinogenic?
