Hennetica blends are composed of herbs that :

  • they come from certified organic cultivation , but the color is not certified overall, as they have not yet certified the entire supply chain, which is very long and complex.
  • they do not have fair trade certification, but come from sustainable agricultural projects in India , for which we have activated support and certification processes but they require very long times to be implemented.

Unlike chemical dyes, which work by lifting the cuticles of the hair to allow synthetic color molecules to penetrate, henna wraps the cuticle and binds to the keratin, filling the hair scales. The hair shaft is consequently much more full-bodied, thick and shiny and always takes on very natural shades.

With natural dyes, the color you obtain will always be personalized because the result will depend on various factors such as the starting color, the ability to absorb the pigment, the installation times and above all they do not attack the original color by hiding it but will adapt to it.

HOW TO USE:

1 - Prepare your hair : wash your hair well with the natural pre-dyed shampoo Avatara by La Saponaria. Do not use shampoos that contain silicones or other film-forming ingredients as this will reduce the effect of the dye.

2 - Prepare the dye : put on gloves and in a bowl mix the dye powder with warm water (35-40 degrees). Add water until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous paste, the same consistency as yogurt: for perfect application it must not be too liquid or too thick. The amount of powder to use is determined by the length of your hair and must be necessary to cover the entire area to be treated.

3 - Apply the dye : apply the paste thus obtained, without letting it cool, on freshly washed damp hair, separating the hair into strands and starting from the root towards the lengths. Gather your hair and cover it with film and a towel or wool hat to keep the heat in, leave everything on for 30 minutes to 2 hours. The longer the installation is left, the better the color will adhere and will tend to be darker and more opaque.

4 - Rinse and shine! After the application period, wash your hair with warm water without using shampoo or conditioners. You can optionally do a final rinse with cold water and spray a hydrolate directly onto damp hair to better fix the color and close the hair scales. Do not use other products on your hair for at least 24 hours.

This shade It does not contain any chemicals , therefore it cannot lighten your color or guarantee an exact color tone. The final shade obtained may vary based on your starting color, the structure of your hair, any previous treatments (e.g. chemical or permanent dyes) and the application method (processing time and temperature).
