SUSTAINABLE AND RESPECTFUL PRODUCTION: Miomojo collections are produced in carefully selected factories in Asia , cooperating with suppliers who share the same vision and with whom to build stable and long-lasting relationships. Throughout the supply chain there are safe and fair working conditions, directly controlled by Miomojo headquarters in Hong Kong .
They would have liked to have a completely European supply chain, but the costs, and consequently the selling prices of the product, would have been very high. Miomojo is not a company that offers luxury products and does not want to be. They believe that design, beautiful and cruelty-free products should be affordable, in order to contribute to a significant change in lifestyle for as many people as possible and therefore have a positive impact on the welfare of animals and our planet.
Associations supported by Miomojo:
- Animals Asia, which works tirelessly to end the bear bile industry, which condemns over 10,000 bears in China and 1,200 in Vietnam to torture farms. Animals Asia also campaigns to end the trade in dogs and cats for food in China and Vietnam, and against cruel practices in Asia’s zoos and safari parks. Find out more at www.animalsasia.org
- in Italy, they support Essere Animali , a non-profit organization that promotes change, aimed at overcoming all forms of exploitation of the animals that share the planet with us. Every year, more than 60 million minks, foxes, rabbits, raccoons and seals are killed, forced for their entire lives in cages on farms or captured with cruel methods in their natural environments. Miomojo supports in particular Essere Animali's efforts to close mink farms in Italy.
- PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), one of the largest and most important international non-profit organizations supporting animals. PETA focuses its efforts in four macro areas, in which animals suffer the most: the food industry, the clothing industry, laboratories that test on animals and the entertainment industry. All Miomojo products are “vegan approved” by PETA, and Miomojo is a proud “PETA Business Friend”, supporting this organization's great efforts to end animal abuse and suffering.
- Miomojo believes in the positive impact that every single individual can have in changing the world. That's why in addition to international associations, they also support smaller initiatives around the world, but with a strong local impact: Rancho Relaxo in New Jersey, USA - Change for Animals foundation active in Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam - Mercy For Animals, an international association for animal rights.
