The active plant ingredients delicately dye and nourish the hair, spreading like a veil over each individual hair. Your hair will be healthier and fuller, and will have more volume and a natural shine.
The result depends on your starting color and is always personalized: if your hair is light, the result will be a medium or dark brown with shiny reflections , while if your hair is darker, you will get a dark brown or brown with bold tones .
- Henna dyes hair gently, ensuring a long-lasting result. This red-orange colored substance is obtained from the crushed stems and leaves of the henna shrub. During coloring, the henna pigments are deposited on each hair like a colored veil. Your hair will be stronger and shinier.
- Indigo is extracted from the leaves of the plant of the same name. Its extract dyes hair a deep blue, indigo, and gives hair a shade of intense character. In this shade, indigo gives intensity to the color and makes it darker, even if your hair is completely gray.
- Amla is a fruit rich in vitamin C and has a very sour taste. Indians revere this fruit for its many properties: alma is effective against colds, protects against allergies and strengthens the immune system. This vitamin-rich fruit strengthens the skin, hair and is believed to stimulate hair growth.
- Bhringaraj is considered in Ayurveda to be a true fountain of youth for hair and scalp: this plant has fortifying, stimulating properties and fights hair loss and the appearance of gray hair. In addition, the bhringaraj decoction, with its typical dark color, gives khadi Hair Color an intense color.
HOW TO USE: First wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo, such as khadi Amla Shampoo or khadi Rose Hair Repair Shampoo. For medium blonde or lighter hair, or for bleached, highlighted or very damaged hair, we recommend pre-coloring with khadi Pure Henna or khadi Light Brown.
Then mix the khadi Natural Hair Color mixture with warm water at 50 °C until it forms a creamy mixture. Distribute the mixture evenly through your hair with a brush: strand by strand all the way to the tips. If you only want to color the roots, do not apply the dye to the lengths and tips. Make sure that the dye is evenly distributed throughout your hair and massage it in well so that it coats every hair.
DRY TIME: Leave the natural dye on for 30-120 minutes. The longer you leave it on, the darker the final color tone will be. If you have already used this shade to dye your hair and you just want to revive the color, leave the dye on for 15-30 minutes. Then rinse the dye off with warm water only. Do not use shampoo for 24-48 hours. This is the time needed for the color to develop in all its intensity.
To fix the color pigments in your hair, you can use a khadi Hair Oil before the first wash, for example Amla Oil. Let the oil work for at least 20 minutes and then wash your hair with a natural shampoo. This will make your khadi shade last longer.
Every hair type is different, which is why the result may vary when using a natural hair color. To ensure that you are happy with the final result, we recommend testing the khadi Natural Hair Color on a small, invisible strand before coloring the entire hair.
