Selenite is the stone of tranquility . It is a calcium crystal and its name derives from the Greek "Selenites", literally "Moon Stone", from the name of the Greek goddess of the Moon Selene, due to the reflections that recall those of the moon. Being closely linked to the seventh chakra , it facilitates contact and communication with the higher self. It is used for meditation, thanks to its high energetic power and the ability to purify the surrounding environment.
