Organic Corn-Based Vegan Leather: Vegan leather is a bio-based polyurethane (PU). Made of bio polyols, obtained from non-food and GMO-free corn crops with 100% recycled PET support. This PU has the highest percentage of biomass available on the market - up to 81%. It is safely derived from plants without taking resources away from farms and animals. This material offers an optimal mix of technique, performance and ecological benefits. According to an analysis carried out by the manufacturer, it reduces energy consumption from non-renewable sources by 44% compared to standard PU-coated fabrics. It also provides a 15% reduction in carbon footprint and a 32% reduction in ozone layer depletion. The organic fabric is made in Italy and is the perfect vegan leather alternative.
