Description

The most comfortable Brazilian briefs ever are made of eucalyptus! This fabric is softer than silk, better than bamboo and cooler than cotton. Thanks to this fabric, the briefs breathe, are antibacterial and control humidity. Great fit and no annoying labels, with very soft elastic waistband.

TENCEL™ LYOCELL is bacteriostatic and thermoregulatory, above all it is very breathable. Thanks to the microscopic channels present in the fiber, the humidity created in your body evaporates quickly and consequently bacteria have no chance to develop. This also keeps you cool and dry.

Composition: 95% TENCEL™ LYOCELL, 5% ELASTANE

The small amount of elastane allows the garment to have an excellent fit and extra comfort.

Colors: Bordeaux, Camel, Petrol and Black

Washing recommendations: Machine wash at 40°, do not tumble dry, do not bleach, iron at medium temperature, do not dry clean.

Made in Portugal

Some info on the Saint Basic company

The T ENCEL™ used comes from eucalyptus wood grown in South Africa in FSC certified forests in the wetlands of the Mpumalanga province in South Africa, territories that cannot be exploited for agriculture. Due to its "thirst" the eucalyptus tree is also used to drain swamps. In nature this tree grows very quickly. It also has impressive growth spurts and can reach over 60 feet tall! Its cultivation has a 95% lower environmental impact than cotton . In fact, only 22% of the land is used compared to cotton, water consumption is only 4% compared to cotton and obviously no pesticides and fertilizers are used.

The transformation process into textile fiber is done by the Austrian company LENZING (EU Ecolabel certified) in a sustainable and zero waste way through a closed circuit system where 99.5% of the solvent is reused. Furthermore, no aggressive chemicals such as sulfuric acid are used but an organic compound (amine oxide).
From spinning to the creation of the fabric up to packaging, the manufacturing process moves to Portugal in the Impetus company where the fabric is created thanks to modern and sophisticated machinery. The dyeing takes place in another company nearby and the dyes used are lead-free and comply with GOTS standards.
The result is a very soft, resistant and excellent quality fabric.

The manufacturing company Impetus offers a healthy, happy and safe working environment for workers. There is no child labor and wages are fair. The company actually offers scholarships and internships to the children of its employees.
The factory also has its own water treatment system, uses biomass to produce hot water and generates around 20% of its electricity supply from its solar panels.

Prodotto in Portogallo dall'azienda Saint Basic

  • BIODEGRADABILE E SOSTENIBILE
