Description
Citric Acid powder , ecological cleaning product.
Citric acid is an acid found naturally in plant organisms such as fruit and in different concentrations depending on the fruit. For example, lemon contains 5-7%, orange 1%.
Citric acid is not aggressive and is frequently used in cleansing because it has the power to sequester calcium and combat water hardness . It can be used as a descaler , softener , descaler , rinse aid .
1kg bucket pack or 3kg refill.
How to use:
Use citric acid in a 15% solution for all uses. Then pour 1 liter of distilled water and 150ml of citric acid into a nebulizer and let the acid dissolve. Avoid contact with eyes and inhalation.
The uses of citric acid:
Washing machine softener
Citric acid used as a softener carries out its action by counteracting the hardness of the water and therefore leaving the clothes soft. Citric acid also contributes to the degradation of enzymes and detergent residues, thus eliminating the risk of their allergic action, but it also prevents the yellowing of clothes and has an anti-limescale action for the washing machine. If you like, the solution can be perfumed with drops of essential oils.
Descaler for washing machines and dishwashers
Thanks to its descaling power, citric acid can be used for your appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers to increase their cleaning capacity and extend their life. Simply pour in the solution and start a high temperature program.
Rinse aid for dishwashers
Always in the dishwasher, citric acid can be used as a rinse aid to make dishes cleaner and shinier. Fill the tray with the water and citric acid solution and adjust the indicator to the maximum.
Descaler for washable surfaces
Citric acid can also be used to clean surfaces such as bathroom fixtures and tiles. However, be careful not to use it on wood, marble and stone! Spray directly onto the surface with a spray bottle, leave to act for a few minutes, rub with a cloth and rinse.
Cleaning the toilet and drains
Citric acid can also be effectively used for cleaning toilets and drains. Pour a quantity of 15% solution onto the toilet brush and scrub the walls well. If, however, the dirt and limescale is more stubborn, you can create a solution consisting of 50g of citric acid in a liter of water to pour into the toilet and leave to act overnight.
To clean and polish bathroom fixtures, it is possible to create a higher solution consisting of 200ml of water and 75g of citric acid. This solution removes limescale, cleans and gives shine.
However, in the case of clogged drains but also for their normal maintenance, it is recommended to pour 100g of sodium bicarbonate into the drain and then a solution consisting of 200ml of water and 30g of citric acid.
Do not use directly on fabrics. Not suitable for food use. Do not use on all surfaces on which the use of acidic substances is not recommended.
Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place.

Info on the manufacturer
Italmami is an all-Italian company that dedicated itself to the production of washable diapers in natural fabrics after the birth of the owners/parents' two children, which was then also added to the production of items for female intimate hygiene such as menstrual cups . Production takes place entirely in Italy and the diapers are sewn in a Venetian cooperative that employs people with addiction problems, alcoholism and social hardship. Even for fabrics, Italamami tries to source them in Italy and where it is not possible in neighboring countries but all are still Oeko-Tex certified.
