Origin and characteristics of the substances contained: Soap, sugar surfactant and fatty alcohol sulphate in this liquid detergent have a complementary and mutually reinforcing action. For the soap, organically grown rapeseed oil is saponified in a special saponification method without external heat input, with the help of a caustic potash solution. Soap as a cleaning substance combines in an exceptional way all the characteristics of wetting, dissolving and removing dirt, necessary for the washing process. In this action, the soap is strengthened by sugar surfactant and fatty alcohol sulphate, which are obtained from purely vegetable raw materials such as sugar, starch and coconut fat via chemical reactions with the help of acids. At the same time, this combination eliminates the disadvantage of soap, i.e. the formation of a calcareous soap which can deposit on the laundry if the descaler is not dosed precisely. Alcohol, which is obtained thanks to the fermentation of vegetable starch, serves to keep the detergent liquid and therefore allows a high concentration of detergent substance to be obtained. Sulfated castor oil, also called Turkish red oil, is obtained by reacting the oil with sulfuric acid. Increases the degreasing power of the detergent.

At temperatures below 10° C the product changes and becomes a little more solid and cloudy. This effect disappears with heat, possibly by shaking it slightly.

Ecology and Biodegradability:

Compared to all other active detergent substances, vegetable oil soap has the characteristic of binding immediately after use to the limestone always present in waste water, becoming a calcareous soap and, in this way, neutralizes itself on the surface in the its active action on living beings in water (primary decomposition). The calcareous soap is then rapidly decomposed by microorganisms to 100% into carbon dioxide and water (secondary decomposition).

In the production process of sugar surfactants, coconut fat alcohol sulphate and sulphated castor oil, particles are taken which nevertheless remain completely unchanged in their natural structure. For this reason it is relatively easy for microorganisms to completely eliminate these surfactants 100%.
