Choosing the Tea Natura "Re-detergent" means:

  • For every kg of post-consumer oils, 17 kg of ready-to-use detergent are obtained, therefore a highly impactful and polluting waste such as used oil is re-used and re-used, making it 100% biodegradable;
  • Reduction of waste oil recovery and disposal costs;
  • Double use of a vegetal raw material of agricultural origin;
  • Lower import of coconut oil from third countries;
  • Reduction of CO2 released into the atmosphere.

How to use : Swipe onto the wet item to be treated and rub well, then rinse. On tough stains, soap can be used by rubbing it into the stain before machine washing.

Ingredients : Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Linoleate*, Sodium Oleate*, Aqua, Cymbopogon Winteranius Herb Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Geraniol, Citronellol, Limonene.

* from post-consumer oils

The Ri-detergent line which today includes four different products with detergents also for cleaning the house and with other recycled materials such as wood ash, was born from Tea Natura's desire to combine the concept of Ecological with that of Sustainable creating what is called Circular Economy. In fact, post-consumer edible oil waste (used by members of the Solidarity Purchasing Groups of Ancona) is given back its dignity as a raw material by transforming it into a biodegradable surfactant . All this makes it possible to eliminate the problems that these waste oils would cause if dispersed into the environment, and to avoid fats from outside Europe (palm, coconut, etc.) to create the surfactant.

Currently 7 tons of post-consumer oils as a non-biodegradable product have become approximately 25 tons of detergent which degrade completely and quickly: 25,000 bottles, equal to 550,000 machine washes.

The bottles used for the Ri-Detersivo line are also produced in Braskem Bio-Plastic : a polymer obtained from ethanol produced from sugar cane which cancels the costs in terms of weight of CO2 released into the environment.
