Tuffo a Cala Sabina was born from botanical research carried out in the Sardinian Mediterranean scrub and contains its essence. Sardinia is a very particular land from a botanical point of view, where particularly resistant species thrive, which give us their strength. ROSEMARY - Rosmarinus Officinalis
A plant governed by the Sun, of fundamental importance for all the peoples of the Mediterranean since ancient times. It was already used by the Egyptians - as well as the Greeks and Romans - who considered it a powerful symbol of rebirth and immortality. “Its burning, saline, conscience-strengthening, comforting scent has in itself something that recalls the solemnity of incense”, it was in fact burned for purification purposes during sacred rites. It was also associated with marital love, as the bearer of fidelity, happiness and sincerity. Indispensable for scholars, its scent contributes to concentration and the development of mnemonic skills.

HELICHRISUS - Helicrysum italicum
A Sardinian legend tells of a mother who, desperate for the health of her children, dreamed of the Virgin Mary cleaning their room with a Helichrysum broom. It was with herbal teas made from the plant that he finally cured them. Helichrysum, which takes its name from the Sun and gold, is also known as "the immortal": it survives the most extreme conditions, even if cut it does not change color or smell. Its scent gives a desire to live that overcomes any difficulty.

LAUREL - Laurus Nobilis
An essential oil with a warm, intense and spicy aroma is extracted from the leaves which tones the body and mind. For the Ancients it was the tree consecrated to the Sun-Apollo, symbol of the mind inspired by divine wisdom. The heads of heroes, geniuses and wise men were crowned with the fronds. It gives awareness, dignity and security: it is the scent of victory. It increases the ability to make important decisions, therefore it is ideal for those who hold high positions.

JUNIPER - Juniperus communis
Like many Sardinian plants, which seek within themselves the strength to adapt to the climate and the territory, Juniper is a plant full of profound meanings. Its strength is confirmed, for example, by the fact that its wood is not attacked by woodworms. Its Greek name aekèuthis, from arkèo, or "to ward off", tells of its nature: the Juniper wards off the enemy, diseases, snakes, but even before that it wards off evil spells. In Christian tradition it is said that the Holy Family was hidden from Herod's soldiers by a Juniper tree and that the wood of the cross belonged to this plant. The essential oil, extracted from the berries, has a fresh, fruity and balsamic scent, it is a concentrate of vital forces. It has a regenerating action on the mind, promotes prayer and meditation. The essential oils are extracted with extreme care, selecting the land and crops with the most suitable environmental conditions for the peak of the balsamic period. The extraction is carried out in small batches with a spagyric method , in some cases also using a distiller that can be transported to the collection site, in order to extract the maximum essence from the collected plants.
