About the manufacturer: Confezioni Cristina is a company in the province of Ravenna, which can boast a complete Made in Italy supply chain from A to Z in the production of underwear. The production takes place in their laboratory with all the operations inside it, from the raw materials warehouse to the finished product. A complete cycle that starts from the design and size development, continues with cutting and sewing, and ends with control and packaging.

The supplier from which they purchase cotton and Modal is Maglificio Formenti in the province of Varese. The cotton yarn used is Australian , class 1 (therefore the top in terms of "cleanliness" and absence of impurities), and produced according to national standards of work ethics. The Modal, micromodal and cotton fabrics are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.

Modal® is a man-made fibre of natural origin produced from the pulp of trees: it is therefore a fibre regenerated from cellulose. Fabrics made from Modal® feel very soft and smooth, and are particularly pleasant to wear. Precisely because it is so soft, Modal® is often combined with other natural fabrics such as cotton to improve its quality and shine. Modal® is a registered trademark of Lenzing AG , an Austrian company attentive to ecological and sustainable production, specialized in the production of textiles and, in particular, of fibres produced from cellulose.

The colouring treatment of fabrics is particularly important, because the chemical treatment that permeates or covers the fibre in the final colouring is the first to come into contact with our skin . Even if the garment is white! Confezioni Cristina is among the companies that guarantees that the colouring and finishing treatments have been carried out in Italy, where there are rigorous controls and, for many years, the substances that can be used are safe and certified.
