• Henna has soothing properties and promotes healing of the scalp. This intense yellow-red substance is obtained from the crushed stems and leaves of the henna shrub. Henna envelops the hair, hydrates it and gives it fiery highlights that give shine to both light and dark hair.
• Amla , the Indian gooseberry, contains a lot of vitamin C. The fine powder obtained from the fruit of this plant increases the shine of the nuance given by henna. Amla strengthens hair and roots. Find out how amla gives elasticity and volume to hair.
• Jatropha is an evergreen plant from India. The coloring substance is obtained from the bark of the plant. The decoction obtained from jatropha powder and used in the shade Henné, Amla & Jatropha khadi, gives intense mahogany shades even to medium and dark-toned hair.

HOW TO USE: First wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo, such as Amla Shampoo or khadi Shikakai Shampoo.

Then mix the khadi Natural Hair Dye mixture with hot water at a temperature of 50 °C until you obtain a creamy consistency. Distribute the mixture evenly through the hair with a brush: strand by strand up to the tip. If you want to dye only the roots, do not apply the dye to the lengths and ends. Be careful to distribute the dye evenly throughout your hair and massage it well so that it envelops each hair.

LAYING TIME: Leave the natural dye to act for a period of time between 30-60 minutes. If you want to obtain a delicate honey blonde nuance, 30 minutes of application is sufficient. If, however, you prefer to obtain a warm and decisive sunny blonde, the processing time must be 60 minutes or more. Then rinse off the dye with warm water only. Do not use shampoo for 24-48 hours. This is in fact the period of time necessary for the color to develop in all its intensity.

To fix the color pigments in your hair, you can use a khadi hair oil before the first wash, such as Amla oil. Leave the oil to act for at least 20 minutes and then wash your hair with a natural shampoo. This way your khadi shade will last longer.

Each head of hair has its own particularity, which is why when using a natural dye the result may vary. To ensure that you are satisfied with the final result, we recommend that you try the khadi Natural Dye on an inconspicuous strand before proceeding with complete colouring.
