Description

Lemongrass Essential Oil Bio Biopark It comes from India and is obtained by steam distillation of citronella leaves. It has a pale yellow color and a very intense scent of lemon and herbs. Citronella is known for its restorative properties, and in cosmetics it is used for its astringent properties in facial tonics and against acne and oily skin. In aromatherapy it is used to instill a state of calm and relaxation, warding off depression. During the summer it can be used as a mosquito repellent.

Easily mixes with: bergamot, lime, angelica, orange, mandarin, petitgrain, neroli, grapefruit, geranium, lemon balm, incense, basil, pink palm, clove, ginger, eucalyptus, cardamom, coriander, patchouli, rosemary, myrrh, lavender, vetiver, sage, lemon and jasmine.

Biopark essential oils can be used to perfume rooms by inserting them into nebulizers, diffusers and radiators but also to perfume drawers and wardrobes.

Uses of Lemon Grass Essential Oil

Against coughs and colds : make a summation with a basin of hot water in which 8 drops of Lemongrass essential oil have been diluted.

Against sweating : make a foot bath by diluting two drops of essential oil in the water. Or use a few drops for a refreshing and deodorizing bath.

In cosmetics : a few drops can be used in addition to the tonic in case of impure and oily skin. If added to the shampoo it has a purifying action on the scalp and sebum-regulating.

In aromatherapy : it helps keep insects and mosquitoes away, stimulates the nervous system against stress and refreshes the environment.
