Amla is a plant native to India that produces a greenish fruit with a translucent skin and is therefore also called Indian gooseberry. The fruit is rich in important properties, it is a very important source of vitamin C, which makes it an excellent antioxidant and anti-aging, it contains polyphenols and bioflavonoids, but also saponins which act against free radicals. Amla is used in traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine and is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine. Its use in cosmetics is exceptional as it helps to rejuvenate, repair and protect hair and skin. Here is how amla works:

• on hair: rejuvenates, repairs and strengthens damaged hair, helping it grow and making it voluminous, shiny and soft, especially in the case of dull, dry and damaged hair. It cleanses the scalp, purifying it and giving freshness to oily hair and skin. It prevents split ends by strengthening and nourishing the roots. If applied regularly, it prevents hair from graying thanks to its slightly darkening property and hair loss.
• on face and body: suitable for cleansing the face and body, even on sensitive and acne-prone skin. Prevents inflammation and reduces pores and acts as an anti-aging.

How to use:
- for hair: mix the required amount of Amla with warm water in a bowl until it forms a thick paste and let it rest for at least two hours. Apply the mixture until it covers the hair and scalp and leave it on for at least 15 minutes. If the hair is greasy and dirty, the paste can be left on longer. Rinse only with water to have a beautiful shine and shine.
- for face: mix a spoonful of Amla with warm water, apply it all over your face and leave it on for ten minutes. Gently remove the mask, rinse and apply a moisturizer.
