Amla is a plant native to India that produces a greenish fruit with translucent skin and is therefore also called Indian gooseberry. The fruit is rich in important properties, it is a very important source of vitamin C , which makes it an excellent antioxidant and anti-aging , it contains polyphenols and bioflavonoids , but also saponins which act against free radicals. Amla is used in traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine and is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine. Its use in cosmetics is exceptional as it helps to rejuvenate, repair and protect hair and skin. Here's how amla works:

• on the hair : rejuvenates, repairs and strengthens damaged hair, helping its growth and making it voluminous, shiny and soft, especially in the case of dull, dry and damaged hair. It cleans the scalp, purifying it and giving freshness to hair and oily scalp. Prevents split ends by strengthening and nourishing the roots. If applied regularly, it prevents hair graying and hair loss thanks to its slightly darkening properties.
• on face and body : indicated for cleansing the face and body, even on sensitive and acne-prone skin. It prevents inflammation and reduces pores and acts as anti-aging.

Ways of use:
- for hair: mix the necessary quantity of Amla with hot water in a bowl until it forms a thick paste and leave to rest for at least two hours. Apply the mixture until the hair and scalp are covered and leave it to act for at least 15 minutes. If your hair is greasy and dirty, the mixture can be left on for longer. Rinse only with water for a nice shine and shine.
- for the face: mix a spoonful of Amla with warm water, apply it all over the face, leaving it on for ten minutes. Gently remove the mask, rinse and apply a moisturizer.
