Gent rigid baby carrier in organic cotton

Rigid baby sling, a classic for carrying your baby from birth until you want. With the rigid sling you can do all the bindings and carry in front, behind and on the side. Thanks to the consistent fabric and its weave the fabric will not wear out and you can use it for a long time. Woven in a special broken twill weave, particularly elastic, diagonally elastic. Perfect for naps, walks and outings thanks to its strong support. The end of the fabric is cut diagonally for a regular fall of the fabric. At the end of the sling you will find a convenient pocket (20x25cm) to keep the essentials you may need.

HOPPEDIZ QUALITY

• Special fabric . The broken twill weave of fabrics made from high-quality twisted yarns is evenly stretchable in warp and weft in both diagonals. The harness keeps it in shape and does not wear out. Only 100% yarn-dyed long-pile cotton is used (i.e. natural yarns that are dyed before weaving).
• Non-irritating to the skin and resistant to saliva . Obviously without heavy metals, non-toxic, without bleach and chemical agents.
• After washing still in shape. HOPPEDIZ wraps are not pre-shrunk after weaving. This production step is unnecessary as well as expensive and causes unnecessary environmental pollution due to the resulting soap foam. For this reason, before the first wash the wraps are slightly longer than stated and only have the stated length after washing.
• Also useful in the delivery room . The HOPPEDIZ® baby sling can also be used as an obstetric aid in the delivery room.

ABOUT HOPPEDIZ COMPANY

The baby sling fabrics are produced in India, without any use of child labor! Most of the fabrics come from conventional agriculture, but part of the product range comes from controlled organic cultivation (COC cotton). The modern dyeing plants with which the company collaborates are state-of-the-art and use only high-quality, harmless and heavy metal-free dyes. After the yarn has been dyed, which guarantees a high color intensity, the yarns are delivered to the weaving mill.

Until 2007, fabrics were woven by hand, since the summer of 2007, due to the required volumes, we have switched to machine processing. However, the pre-production of models for new collections is still carried out in the proven workshops of our master weavers using hand looms.

After a quality control in the processing plant, the continuous woven fabrics are cut to size. In the tailoring shop, the piece of fabric is hemmed, labeled and the HOPPEDIZ® baby carrier is finished. Since May 2005, the partner with whom the company works has been internationally certified ISO 9001.

COC Cotton:

Controlled organic cotton is raw cotton sourced from farmers who do not use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers in their fields. Since the cotton is handpicked, there is no need for defoliants. COC cotton is purchased directly from farmers in India to avoid unnecessary transportation. The manufacturing facility is SKAL certified.
